DVX 100B Blurry Image

I am having a problem getting a clear image from my camera. It's not a setting I can find anywhere in the camera so I think it may actually be some kind of adjustment that needs to be made to the camera. Even before I record the image everything is blurry (see the video link below). I can watch through a monitor and no matter how I change any of the settings the image never seems to focus accurately. The video sample is not great but isn't actually far off of the quality I am seeing through the camera. Is this a mechanical issue where something is out of adjustment in the camera and not a setting problem?

I was on autofocus the whole time. Being outdoors with good lighting and trying to capture the fast movement I used 60i and a fairly fast shutter speed and tried to keep the f-stop at 5.6 (the "sweet spot"). I was afraid manual focus would leave me with footage coming in and out of focus. I don't know exactly what the best settings are for this camera when fil
 
^^ NEVER use autofocus..........I learned this after many many times trying to shoot autofocus with blurred images.....
 
Yeah, I am thinking autofocus for fast action video doesn't quite keep up. I will try and manually focus in the future and see how things come out. Thanks!
