I've been shooting water for years and never had a problem until yesterday. I was shooting water shots with the dvx 100a and when I was done I took the camera out of the housing and still continued to shoot. when I powerd daown to pack and get ready to store the camera( I always take the battery out) I went to power the cam back up to take out the tape and nothing no power at all? I packed the cam in my case with 10 silica packs overnight to see if there was any water damage and nothing? no salt or corrosion of any sort? any advise also on how to get the tape out as I was shooting a memorial for a dear friend.
