I am on the verge of buying a DVX and am looking into either the 100A or 100B. Anyone have any suggestions? I plan on buying one brand new. EVS seems like a good store...any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew

The 100B is the only one you can buy new right now and get the rebate. EVS is a great location and I strongly suggest contacting them to purchase. It is a great camera and will not disappoint.

Panasonic appears to offer Magic Bullet Editor's Software, and EVS does not appear to...I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not, as Panasonic is about $500 more expensive on their website.
Has anybody heard of these places? Panasonic lists them as local dealers:
-Cutting Edge Audio Group
-Snader & Associates
-Safer Seas Video Supply
Thanks,
Andrew

EVS is $200 more than some places. Is there a reason why? Superior customer service, extras, etc?

Safer Seas is out of business. Don't know the others. Also consider Abel Cine Tech, they're the new home of the "DVXUser Discount".

IF you want the dvxuser discount at EVS you will need to contact them directly..don't rely on what is posted on the website..because that is their everyday price.
