DVX 100A 1 frame without audio

Hi, anyone knows how to repair this glitch
Im recording One channel with Rode NTG2 with AA batery (No phantom active)
and the Other audio channel with the internal mic.

i hear everithing trought the headphones and everything is ok
but, in premiere, once a while there is a frame whitout audio, Neither left nor right channels

it seems there is no pattern, i check a 30min footage and first frame its at 35s
2 - 5s after the first one
3 - 15s after the second
4 - 42s
5 - 3s
6 - 18s
any ideas?

When you listen & the audio is OK, is it only when you're recording or when you playback out of the camera too?


Not sure, but could it have something to do with the frame rate / conversion?

Did you shoot at 24p & editing in PAL 25fps or NTSC 30fps? If the software did a bad job bringing in the footage, it might have gotten the audio screwed up.

I dont like use the dvx100A to playback the tapes, i capture with a sony Handycam and never had any problems until now.

i follow your advice and the audio its ok in the dvx

so maybe it is the handy, im going to make a head clenning with the cleanning tape
