I’m really looking into getting a 24p camera but I am definitely on a limited budget. I was wondering what the best price would be for a used, good quality dvx 100. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say, after watching ebay and this board closely for about the past 6 weeks that the going rate for a used DVX100a averages around 2,300. The DVX100 averages about $1,750. A DVX100 with 16:9 adaptor just sold for $2125.

Like I said, those are averages. You can find the prices more or less hover around $100 form there depending on hours and condition.

I get my 100a thursday.... mmmm

Yup. Be careful on the number of hours on the 100 (no A). They are getting older, and though they should work fine, abused ones are out there. Pay the extra few hundred for an A if you can, or at least don't compromise on a shabby 100.

I may sell my DVX. I have about 320 hours on it but it has never been used as a deck. We use it professionally and it has been very well taken care of!

I have lots of extras also. Big Fat Panny batteries. Nice soft case. I also had some custom cables built for a battery belt.

I also have a Sennhieser wireless EVO 100, a monfrotto monopod. and more.

PM me of you like.

Cheers,
Chris
