DVX 100 help

Not sure if this should be posted here so if it isnt, sorry!

I'm thinking about getting a Panasonic AG-DVX 100, I have worked with the XL-2 but like the Panasonic 100 much better.

Here are my questions;

1. I live in the U.S. but I'm from Europe so should I get a PAL or NTSC version? Does it really matter?

2. I hear the image is better on the PAL, is that true?

3. The 24-25 fps and 330-50i setting differance on the PAL and NTSC versions, WHAT??

4. Is charging the PAL version a problem in the U.S., does an adapter mess-up the camera?

5. What is more simple in regards to 35 mm blowup, PAL or NTSC?

6. I bought Final Cut Pro in the U.S. so if I get the PAL camera can I use FCP to edit?

7. What are realy the pros and cons of the two?

8. What do you think is better as a U.S. filmmaker.

I work mostly with 16 and Super 16 so this is kind of new to me, my XL-2 filming is limited but I found I like the DVX better.

Much thanks to all who reply.

P.S. What do the letter/s that come after the '100' part mean? E.G. Panasonic AG-DVX 100 'A' etc. What is the best model to buy in the PAL and NTSC versions?
