DVX 100 B display options question

So if I read right, this thing solves the problems of no underscan and no letterbox presentation of 16:9 or optically squeezed images that its predecessors exhibit both in flip-out and eyepiece.

What about the monitor-out functions- if I feed my field monitor or a little LCD clamshell, does that also receive the corrected image ?

From what I can tell the "correct" finder design is the key reason to buy the B series camera ( which I'm thinking about)

Anyone used to shooting in a groundglass or ENG finder has probably, like me, ended up with a shot here or there vignetting or shooting off set. And I have found that a 5% resize make the picture look soft as warm butter. It's a shame to have to use conservative TV safe style framing for things that really should be shot more precisely.

If I misssed this elsewhere on the site I apologize.
