DVX 100-B: Disable Onboard, in-camera mike

Hello everyone-

Is it possible to disable the on-camera mike on the DVX-100B?

I'm trying to do some audio troubleshooting and disabling this unit would surely help narrow down the source of my difficulty for testing purposes.

Switching both record channels to the front inputs will turn the internal mic off.
