DVRigPro HD vs. MultiRigPro Stabilizer Plus

Okay, perhaps I'm just slow--it wouldn't be the first time--but I've spent quite a bit of time on the DVTec site and I still can't make it out: Is the difference between the DVRigPro HD and the MultiRig Pro Stabilizer Plus only the difference between the MultiRig and the DVRigPro themselves?

That is, is there any difference between the stabilizing system on the MRP Stabilizer Plus and on the DVRigPro? It appears to be the same rod and belt. I was confused at first thinking that there was something special about the MRP Stabilizer Plus that made it more of a stabilizing system than the DVRigPro, but it appears to me now that the designation is only to indicate the MRP with the stabilizing rod.

Anybody here with experience with these rigs who can answer that? (Yes, I did actually ask the DVTec site directly, but the answer I got was very general and didn't actually answer my question.)

Thanks in advance.

The DVRig Pro and Multi Rig are two completely different products. Just look at the pictures and you can see. I own both and have to say, the Multi Rig is much improved over the DVRig. The support rod is even different.

Steve, thanks very much for the reply. You've half-answered my question, even though I mistyped. That's what I get for being in a hurry.

I actually meant the MultiRig Pro, not the DVR Pro HD. I got the wrong "Rig Pro" in my head from an issue I actually looked into months ago.

What's the actual difference, if any, in stabilization between the MR Pro and the MR Stabilizer Plus? Is the MR Pro's stabilization any different than that of the MR SP? Or does the MR Pro use the same support rod and belt as the MR SP, just with the more versatile (and thus expensive) rig? I just want to make sure the "Stabilizer Plus" part of it isn't indicating a difference between the two that might make it more appealing to me than the MR Pro.

Thanks again.
