DVRACK and LCD

I have an LCD TV and hooked up to my computer. When looking at the color bars on the LCD everything was all dark. All of my clips are dark. Are LCD TV's just no good for acuratley watching clips shot with my DVX100B?

Wow, I'am an idiot. Fixed my problem, I had the blue botton pressed in the monitor. Anyway, I still want to know how LCD TV's preform with footage, are they acurate?
