Looking at buying the academic version of DVD Studio Pro 2. Does it leave a watermark saying "academic version" or anything like that? Are there any differences in it from the regular version other than the license?
To the best of my knowledge, the only difference is than when you start up the program, on the splash screen it lets you know that it's the Academic Version.
So, it doesn't do anything to modify any of your output, just lets whoever is opening the actual application up that it's the Acadmic version.
The academic version functions the same as the normal version. I think the only difference besides the splash screen is that it may not come with the DVD templates (or at least as many of them as are included with the regular version). That's a normal practice for academic software.
