DVD vids: wheelchair dolly shot, outtakes, & MORE!

After seeing coffee's outtake I thought I would post the "BOGO" outtakes since I have been working on and am just about done with the Director's Cut DVD...

But then I thought why not post the wheelchair dolly shot that's in the new cut (same tools as I used in "Hunting Camp": handheld DVX in wheelchair plus SteadyMove plug-in)?

And then what the hell why not the DVD menu background, and the Lyons Den Productions logo!

Let me know what you think! If anyone wants a copy of the BOGO DVD just PM me, it will go out as a bonus with "Hunting Camp" DVD/CD orders as well...

Good stuffs, good stuffs. Logo looks like it'll hold up on most size screens. As for the outtakes, when the blonde girl and whoever said her line...says her line, they should've just done each other's dialogue for the entire scene :[]. And I'll make sure to push those boom's in tight.
 
nice stuff, gotta love those outtakes, I'll have to make sure an order this when I get a chance ;)
 
FindingMattch and bdt09, thanks for watching and for the comments! I have worked with the same core group on my last two movies and it's a real blast. I always hope some of that comes out in the outtakes and other behind the scenes stuff on the discs.
 
Is the DVD menu going to be a looping background? Or is it just the video build up to the menu? Looks like it would loop nicely, though it is a little long.
 
Rapier_100a, yep the "DVD Main Menu" clip is definitely going to be on a loop in the main menu. I hate DVDs with short loops, they get very annoying very fast, so I always try and do around a minute long loop. Just my own preference I guess.

I am surprised all you tech heads here haven't made any comments about the poor man's dolly shot. hmmmmmm.
 
Nice job on the DVD. The dolly shot is effective and very smooth. Screw the tech guys, it looks Cool ; ) !!! Good luck with it!! :thumbsup:

The DVD is just for my cast and crew, and anyone on the forum here that wants it (it's not for sale). I don't know what kind of interest it would bring. It did make one film festival already...I don't know, maybe if people like it next weekend we will enter it into more festivals and see how it does. At any rate, thanks for checking it out.
 
Love the outtakes, looks like u guys had a great time! The atmosphere was the same for us, we had alot of fun. The wheelchair shot was very nicely done, I was suprise to see that it was very smooth, in the picture i saw you holding the dvx, i was expecting some shaking action but didn't see any.

looking forward to recieving the dvd.
 
I liked the wheelchair dolley shot it was smooth. It was good to have a chance to see some clips since I didn't get a chance to see it when the contest was going on.
