DVD transitions

if i have a video file i want to act as a transition to another menu, how would i go about linking it? lets say i wanted to press scene selection, but before the actual menu comes up i want a video to act as a transition before going into the scene selection menu.

IT'S OK I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT

Link the menu button to the start of the transition video.
Then link the end action of the transition video to the next menu.
