DVD Studio Pro video bitrate to high?

I got a weird problem. I made some sequences in Final Cut and send them to compressor through a custom setting (MPEG 2 60 PAL 16/9 6.6/7.8 dual VBR motion best). I imported them in DVD Studio Pro and made a menu for it. But when I tried to burn the DVD it says only with one of the sequences that the video bit rate is too high. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks
Niels

I tried lowering it in the custom setting, but it still said that the bitrate is too high. When I tried one of the settings of compressor itself with a lower bitrate it worked. But probably I am losing some quality with it.

All of the built-in presets are optimized for quality. Pick the one with the project length that's equal to or greater than yours and you'll be all set. So if you have an 80 minute project, pick the 90 minute preset and so on.

A bit rate for encoding to DVD is directly dependent on how long the video is in total minutes.

You did not indicate that critical factor, nor did you state how you treated audio, dolby2 or aiff.

Help us out

The custom setting is for 60 minutes of footage and my 5 sequences combined are not more then 30 minutes. Audio is .wav files and should be compared in size with aiff don't they?
