DVD Studio Pro Simulation?

I'm creating a project in DVD Studio Pro, when I simulate the DVD inside the application everything works well and all the scripts are executed correctly. Once I burn the disc, everything goes to hell and nothing seems to work.

Am I missing something here? Is DVDSP allowing my to write scripts that it understands, but don't actually work with DVD players? (I have tested with set top players as well as the DVD player in OSX.)

It's the standard Pioneer burner on a G4, writing to DVD-Rs. The video_ts directory is just under 60mb.

That's a pretty small disc, some players may not like it.

Any way you can 'fluff up' the amount of data on the disc? - Even by (for testing at least) simply dropping on some bigger longer video track that is an orphan - no need to get to it on playback, just leave it there to fill space.
