DVD studio pro question

I have had problems in the past with DVDs designed with this software. In certain DVD players a DVD will work and others the DVD won't work.

Is this problem because of the DVD player, software or a simple misuse of the software.

Well my boss had a problem after one of the interns at the production company designed a DVD. I have had such problem as well after burning test DVD's where the DVD player wont read the disk.

what kind of disc are you using? is it a DVD-R? DVD+R? something else?

DVD+R is not as compatible in DVD players as DVD-R. try a DVD-R in the same player and you'll probably be good.

I knew +R are not the best bud didn't know they are not compatable with some dvd players.

DVD+r is the most compatible media for players if your burning software supports book-type settings.

http://www.k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php for more information. There is all kinds of free software for PC to set the book type as you burn the disc. I'm not sure if there is mac software to support book-type settings.
