Hi, I have just paid for my download via PayPal, then was redirected to the download page.
I copied the links to my download manager, started the first two lighting discs, then decided to stop them
and download the sound one first as my internet connection is inconsistent and low bandwidth.
THEN I read the confirmation email stating that a restart counts as 1 download,
and we only get 3 tries! And only 2 days to attempt your downloads!
I understand this policy is in place perhaps to prevent piracy,
but it makes the buyer's options quite difficult. My download may break whether
I use a download manager or not. I feel the warning should be on the redirect page with
the links. Hope I get lucky and can manage to get my downloads in one piece.
We don't actually have any control over what's on the redirect page -- that's controlled by the downloading service.
Rest assured, if something happens and you're not able to download, we will make sure you get your product. If the links expire before you can do it, shoot an e-mail to the address in the confirmation e-mail -- info@wrightsvillebeachstudios.com
I found Lighting for Sound and Television to be extremely useful. My work takes me to places where I have to rely on my own lighting. Lugging expensive, delicate equipment around is something I prefer to avoid. Same rationale for my tripod. I like my 10 lb Manfrotto studio tripod. After much experimentation I found a 12 foot pair of light stands that are solid and easy to assemble. I continue to use my construction light sources 300 w x 2 x4 with "Bounce" fabric softeners as diffusers (one or two sheets gets rid of glare and eliminates shadows from the cage). The two tripods cost me $160.
