DVD: LIGHTING for Film and Television

what is the run time for this dvd? and....I live in Alaska, sooo...US shipping? crosses fingers

Ordered the second I got the email about it. Already know it's going to be worth 5 times the price. At least.

The previous Sound DVD primarily focused on mics and placement but when can we expect a Sound Mixing/Sound Design DVD detailing how you get a great sound mix for your film?

Just happened to see that the DP on this past week's episode of CSI: NY was Levie Isaacks, A.S.C., whom we interview on Disc 2.

Longtime DVXers may recognize him as the DP of the TimeFest-winning short "O2", by Fat Monster. We were there on the set of O2 to interview Mr. Isaacks for this DVD.

Well, the interview was done there, but you won't see him on set (contract issues). You'll see plenty of Macgregor and Jack on set for the two films, though.

Are these DVD's going to be available trough Amazon.com? I bought the SOUND FOR FILM AND TELEVISION DVD, and is excellent!

Sure, but they all come from the same place (my office :) ), and the pre-order price won't be available on Amazon.

Glad you enjoyed Sound!

I ordered the sound DVD as soon as it was released and it made a huge difference in the audio of my productions. So, I ordered the lighting DVD set as soon as I received the email. Plus, it releases on my 50th birthday - has to be a sign, right?

I buy from Amazon because I don't have a PayPal account, I used to tough. The billing/shipping address in the PayPal system was in México (my native country) so many items I bought were sent to the address provided by PayPal to the seller, and some got lost. It was not a problem with customs, nor import fees, etc. Some items just got lost during transit. The postal service in México is sometimes awful. I tried to convince some seller to ship the items to a US address, but no luck.
Too bad I won't get the pre-order price :(. But those extra $10 I'll pay through Amazon, are an insurance for getting the DVD's, just like I did with SOUND FOR FILM AND TELEVISION!
