I finally finished all 3 discs in the lighting DVD set. Took me a while to get through it all between editing, work, and family. I learned a heck of alot about lighting I didn't know. The hows, and why's of it and most importantly.. the fact that lighting is only a small part of the big picture, and now you guys just need to do a video on Set Decoration and location choices for Film and TV! lol.
Really though, I'm gonna practice using alot of what I learned and see what kind of results I can get. Everything makes sense once you get to the examples, and its just mind blowing when you learn that some of the scenes shown were done with one or two lights at times.

Just watched through this again. Definitely a thorough and informative DVD. I'm not up to speed on a lot of the lingo for certain types of equipment and I'm learning as best I can so this set was very useful in that regard.
One of the things we specifically had in mind -- excellent!
