Re: DVD error message

Perhaps you could try preparing the DVD with DVDA and burning it with software meant for DVD burning (Nero, Roxio, etc.).

Re: DVD error message

This happened to me a few months ago.. and the problem was trying to make a 24p DVD i believe.. is that what your doing?

Re: DVD error message

No Jarred........... I just do a "normal" hahaha 29 frame film no special thing...

Jive: I do have this little program "Sonic My Dvd".......and this works..... but the things you can do with it are very limited....... do you mean prepair it in Vegas dvd and then burn it with ... Like sonic?

Re: DVD error message

I use memorex Dvd-R discs............. makes any difference?? Have a Liteon burner............. I will go crazy before it is all over... ???
Thanks for trying guys.....

Re: DVD error message

They said I should not use that program on a weekend. It could be very very bad for my comuter......... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Re: DVD error message

All BS......hahahahahahah....... here is the deal

Thanks for writing.

1. Quit DVDA if it is up and running

2. Go to your "DVD Architect 2.0" folder [e.g. C:\Program Files\Sony\DVD Architect 2.0]

3. Locate the file sfcd.cdd file there

4. Rename existing sfcd.cdd file to something like sfcd.cdd.bak (make sure you change the extension)

5. Copy sfcd.cdd from this letter's attachment to "DVD Architect 2.0" folder

6. Repeat Steps 1-4 for the file sfspti.dll

7. Start DVDA

8. Try to make a burn, see if new binaries solve your problem

I will know more in a few hours if it is working or not...... I am still in post.
I let you guys know for sure.

Thanks

Re: DVD error message

Thanks everybody it all really helped. I feel like a stupid ass over here. Now I have the mpg2 DVD version ready to go and the AC3 audio. In the manual it says if you put both in the same place with the same name, when you drag the film (mpg2) in to the workplace in the architect it will automatically take the sound with it. ???? Well when I go to preview there is no sound. What step do I am missing here now?? It can't be that difficult...But I worked with it for a good hour last night and the sound just won’t go with it... Help Please.
