DVD Authoring Software... recommendations needed

I thought I added this yesterday, but it seems the message disappeared...

I need some suggestions on DVD authoring software. I currently use Ulead's DVD MovieFactory (it came free with the DVD burner... I'm cheap, having spent my $$$ on equipment). My only complaint is the forced thumbnail for each movie on the DVD. Can I create a DVD with the menu listing text (like a convention DVD) with this software (the manual is of little use) or can someone suggest other DVD authoring software that will allow this? Again, I'd like to go the least expensive route as possible, but seeing as I spent good $$$ on my gear, I can spent a little hear too.

Encore seems to be very solid for a 1.0 package. Sonic ReelDVD is another great tool. But both packages are expensive. If you're looking for something "cheap" why not get the full version of Ulead DVD MovieFactory, as I'm sure the one that came with your burner was just a "lite" version.

I really like DVD-a from sonic foundry errr Sony.

DVDlab is also very wicked from the little I have messed with it.
