Hi I know that this is an old thread but I am having the same issue but in DV PAL! We shoot on a Sony Z1E in DV cam wide screen and the footage captures at 1024x576. I edit in FCP 7 and all is fine but the render out put is 1049 X576 when viewing in QT pro (v7.6.4) when conform aperture is in production mode. In classic mode it plays at 1024x576 and the others at 4:3. We think this may have to something to do with FCP reading the 1024x576 as HD 720p. Does anyone know if this is correct? The issue we have is correctly correlating the graphics to the footage between FCP and After Effects and which settings to use? Any help of advice appreciated
