dvcpro50 print to tape from vegas?

I need to deliver footage shot with the hvx in dvcpro50 format to a dvcpro50 tape.

Is this possible?
I do have the Matrox plug-in. From the Vegas print-to-tape screen I can click on "custom..." and see dvcpro50 as an option, but when I select it I am forced back to one of several standard output options- all with the sony codec. I'm using a blackmagic card.

Has anyone encountered this? Any thoughts?

Chris,
Go into Vegas preferences and make sure the "ignore 3rd party codecs" box is unchecked. That might at least allow you to select the desired codec.
