Nice lighting, very good modellng of the face without too harsh a shadow tone, the hair lights look very natural and well exposed, good color. Great!

Yeah I really love the lighting in these shots. Beautiful work. I love DVCPRO50!! Thats pretty much all we shoot here at work. Would love to see some footage.

would love to see your lighting setup, or at least a diagram with the items used?

Lowel 750 soft box for key.

50" reflector for fill.

Lowel Pro with scoop on a bogen convertible boom for hair light.

Lowel DP with black wrap cookie for background light.

ETA, ALL lights on dimmers.

Lighting looked great, good contrast ratio on faces between the key & fill and nice textured background. Just sucks you had 3-1/3 inch ccds because bigger ones would have helped tremendously with a shallow depth of field, I hate being able to read the text behind the subject. Did you use the same set-up for both?

Yes. And I agree with the DOF issues. That's why I got the M2.

It just wasn't practical for the travelling we had to do for these interviews. :embarasse

Thanks!
