Is there a software that can capture multiple streams on DVCPro HD Video with one computer. Something like the old DV Rack, now Adobe On Location, but for multiple HVX's.
I have 4 HVX's each with a firestore for multi-cam production. We sync timecode with firewire cable and it works fine. Our biggest issue is 111 min time constraint. I refuse to buy 4 more bigger capacity firestores. Right now we just puase production, clear cameras with a macbook pro on to an external HD and re-format firestores. Pain in the butt.
I have considered getting 4 macbook pros with 1tb external drives and running adobe on location but figured somebody has had to develop a software to capture multiple streams of DVCPro HD by now?!?!!
