hi, I am in london and the dvc30 is new here, was looking to get the dvx100a but am swayed by the cheaper dvc30 , I work as an editor and having just got my own fcp setup I want to get involved in camerawork , mostly in documentary field,
dvc30 has bigger 16X zoom, and much slower crawling zoom in, nicer bw eyepiece, smaller and easier to handle, no progressive mode, smaller ccds so not as good in dark? infrared of limited use?
Are tv production companies in the states showing an interest in the dvc30? or is it not up to broadcast specs?
I am thinking there is no contest between them especially as there is 1000 pounds price difference between them but interested to hear feedback.
