ok, mixed feelings

i found a XL2 body brandnew from Amazon.com for $650, alo a dvc30 for $1500 (both are reliable sellers, i checked it all out), i have lenses for a canon still camera, so id beable to buy a converter and use those, but i dont know if thats the best choice, i really need input.

Xl2($650) or DVC30($1500)...

IF it is an XL2 body for $650 you have a problem
it is either stolen
not an XL2, rather an XL1 (and even then that is a sketchy price)
it's a scam
or
it doesn't work.

You would also want to get an Xl2 lens unless you have any 5mm cannon lenses. Using the adpater to use 35mm lenses is useless unless you want to have extreme telephoto shots.

Aidan-

$650 is either a typo or something majorly wrong is going on. The XL2 cannot be new. An xl2 run over by a 4X4, smashed into a million pieces, would cost more than that.

Stick with the DVX100A Cheaper better and you can hang out at this site and let everyone know you are a proud owner of the DVX panny.

allright, knowing theres no way to get a functioning xl2 or dvx for under $2000, i think ill go with the dvc30, a little dissapointiong but thats all i can afford, plus i hear great things about it so..
