Hey folks.
I thought I'd try here first before I mess with e-bay. I'm selling my workhorse deck that has just been sitting unused for some time. I got it for a Documentary feature some years back and it's a fantastic machine now (as you'll see) clocking 569 on the drum hours.
I took it to my trusted shop and had it professionally cleaned and lubricated and they completely replaced the loading/eject mechanism and tray. It was not cheap. I don't use it now but it's in new or better than new working order for this sale. I use lots of HD now so I don't need a deck like this so much anymore. If you're editing and/ or archiving lots of Mini-DV this thing is awesome. It's very gentle on tapes but also a lot faster than using a camera (not to mention saves your camera heads).
It is also designed to work in tandem with a DVX100 in case you want to record simultaneous backups while you shoot via firewire, which can be very convenient.
It will playback and record mini-DV and full size DV as well as DV-cam.
It will also playback PAL tapes (but won't record PAL). It's great when you need to capture both. there are composite input/outputs, s-video, and Firewire 400
a mini mic input.
you would receive all that came with it including: the manual, power cable, vertical stand, wireless remote.
I am the original owner and I treat my equipment well. I'd like to get around 900 for it, since the recent servicing was very expensive. It was about 2000 new some years back but in good working order like this it's worth every penny. I haven't used it since it was service a month ago except to test it.
Give me what I'm asking and I'll pack it in the nice padded metal briefcase that I used to transport it for some screenings.
