DV Tape Settings, Best?

This might sound silly, but I haven't used tapes in years!

What are the proper settings for importing DV tapes into final cut pro?

I haven't set any of this up yet and am so used to the p2 card format I don't know.

In school they only taught us how to tapes, not configure for them, hah.
