DV mini tape download from Media Composer

:badputer:I just setup a new HP workstation with Avid Media Composer 4.0.2 After I finished editing my spot, I quickly found that my JVC Deck will not accept a Digital cut from MC so, here's my question! Can I set my DVX100a in such a way that it will record via firewire my spot and the time codes? Is there anyone that has expertise in this area? I have already missed my dead line.

I've done this on adobe premiere but I had bad interlacing issues with my 24p footage.
Wish I could help you with your editor.
