I'm doing a little gameshow parady of the Hollywood Squares where I work and wondered what would be best. I'll be shooting with my HVX close-ups of the squares, cheep canon minidv wide shot of squares, and cheep minidv panasonic for host and contestants shot. I'm editing on FCP and also using a firestore with the HVX. Any thoughts? (And no that's not me in the picture)

Also probably not shooting 24 fps because of mixing with other cams. Output with be DVD and VHS.

I've created a scene file to match a Panasonic GS400 MiniDV camcorder in non-PROCINEMA mode, and it is pretty close. The HVX200 still blows it away in resolution and color sampling, but the overall color reproduction is fairly well matched. Let me know if you're interested in the settings.

I can't help you with the Canon, and if it doesn't offer much in terms of picture adjustments, then mixing those three cameras is going to be a pain in the butt.

Cool, yes I'd be interested. The panasonic I have is the GS120 3ccd, it actually has a pretty decent picture, and the canon I can't remember the model but I have a wide screen adapter on it and it has a pretty decent picture. I think if I overexpose a little I can get them pretty close in post. So I guess DVCpro50 is probably the best?

Thanks, got it saved to the cam, and one more question: at 30p will my cams all stay in sync.
