dv cable included?

[ovaclip]

hey, i just got a brand new dvx 100 b, but is a dv cable included with it. i got the battery pack, charger, dc cables, annnd the lens cap, but no cable?

[William_Robinette]

No. Firewire cables are never included with a camera.

[Nathan.Buxton]

most likely because there are two types of firewire interface designs, small and large...

[Moseph]

nathan,
are you talking about 6 pin and 4 pin?
because im pretty sure that all camcorders out there use the 4 pin connector.

[William_Robinette]

But some computers have 4 pin (laptops) and some have 6 pin.

[Moseph]

oh I forgot about that, makes sense now.
