Hello,
My budget is limited but I am quickly learning that I need to invest in a rail support system and follow focus solution if I want to use my Canon EF lenses effectively with my new AF100.
Anyone have experience with this type of rail support system:
http://cgi.ebay.com/DV-Rail-System-...001?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b822b981
It looks like it has all the important components but I am wondering what is missing when I compare the price to the more expensive support systems.
Cavision also has a nice one at:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/335222-REG/Cavision_RS_15IIM_RS_15IIM_Rod_Support_System.html
As for an affordable follow focus solution I have done a search on D|Focus v3 and read mixed reviews. Seems like it should do the job for the most part. I much rather buy the Birger mount plus its follow focus solution but due to its high price it hurts too much at this point.
Any advice would be appreciated if you see an obvious mistake I am making.
Thanks for your time.
Simon
