It would be nice to know a list of Dutch members on this HVX forum so once the HVX comes out we can exchanges experiences or organise a meeting.

Hoi Cees, kijk ook eens op NFTVM website tegen die tijd, daar zijn ook veel DVX users.
Zelf kijk ik meer naar de HD100E.
 
Count me in for the HVX, I'm not sure about actual meetings though, just a group of people to talk technical would be really nice.
and eurotrash and xray, I guess you would get the HD101E and not HD100E? you would definitely want the firewire in no?)
 
I prefer an external machine for going IEEE1394 in. So te funny extra EU tax for recording machines is no problem for me handling a camcorder as a camera.
 
Here's another Dutch bloke, that's trying to convince himself a couple of times per day that his DVX100 is good enough, but he knows that the HVX200 is his dreamcamera ;-)

Ok, but for the extra cash (not that I fancy the tactics on duties in eu) you can still use the cam to back up HDV, for which otherwise you'd need an HDV VTR.

Anyway, let's all just buy the HVX, we'll be part of a selected group of private owners of DVCproHD format in Holland !

nice to see who's here from nederland.

Are any of you also interested in using a 35mm adapater?
Because that where I'm really interested in. The combination of good dynamic range and 35mm adapter seems to make it possible to give really artistic results.

Hvx has my interest also.
 
hi Lars, I'm sure the Mini35 will be available for rent in Holland.

Holland Equipment @ Amsterdam currently has them for both XL1/2 and DVX100a.
Let's hope they'll buy one for HVX200 or HD101.
 
Vanaf vandaag heb ik een forum online (vanaf 12.00), te bereiken via mijn site. Als we daar nu eens verder praten (nederlands). Ik wil daar graag ruimte voor de HVX200, HDV, 35MM adapters, nederlandse film, en suggesties voor andere onderwerpen zijn welkom. Reden waarom juist dat forum? Geen reden, maar ik woon Amsterdam en niet buiten europa, zo kunnen we praten in een directere sfeer. Cool?
 
cool jochem. Ik ben wel lid van de GLOBAL-DVC DIGITAL VIDEOGRAPHY CENTER maar deze wil geen forum op hun site maken omdat dat volgens Jan Vermeer te veel tijd (en dus geld) aan onderhoud kost. Maar jouw initiatief om het te toen waardeer ik zeer. Ik wil namlijk graag contact hebben met ervaren mensen in Nederland op het gebied van filmen/video/edditing. Is ga vanmiddag onder de pauze ven naar je site :-)))) Ik kan bijna niet meer wachten tot maart/april wanneer de HVX200 uit komt in Europe. Ben erg benieuwd naar de eerste ervaringen in de US eind dit jaar.
 
omdat ik in Curacao woon en alles via amerika doe, hoop ik de camera zo snel mogelijk te krijgen. Als ik dan even naar nederland kom begin volgend jaar neem ik hem wel mee en dan kunnen we ergens afspreken, idee? of je moet even relaxed van de zon komen genieten hier

Dolph : lijkt me een goed plan. Waar ben je dan in NL begin volgend jaar???? Koop je de HVX incl. P2 cards? of met firestore?

ik hoop hem te krijgen in december dus zou ik in Januari kunnen komen. Als ik hem in januari krijg dan kan ik pas in maart komen want in februari krijg ik een zoon. Ik hoop dus in jan te komen. Mischien kunnen we dan bij een van jullie afspreken die een edit suite heeft zodat we een beetje kunnen pielen met dat ding (op een monitor enzo).
Als ik hem koop zal het met P2 kaarten zijn aangezien ik voor bijna alle actualiteiten zenders in Nederland verslag doe van de Antillen is dat met P2 het snelst.
