Hi All,

I'd like to post up our trailer for the exciting new film Dutch Kills, Shot this summer in Brooklyn and Queens New York.

LogLine: After serving time in prison for a heist gone wrong; four best friends reunite to do one last job. But in "Dutch Kills", love, loyalty and devotion won't get you very far...

What's special about this film is that we managed to shoot a film on Red One camera, had over thirty cast and twenty locations, filmed over 21 days in and around Brooklyn and Queens NY, all for only $12,000.

This film really has been a huge task from a team of four film-makes, who wrote, filmed, and directed it themselves.

Please go check out the trailer on our indiegogo site

Yes we are still looking for support to finish post but I would be happy to share and tips and tricks with you on how we did it, and would love to hear any of your comments.

Let me know what you think,

Best,

Liam Le Guillou
DOP / Producer - Dutch Kills

Congratulations! From the looks of it, you got a lot of bang for you buck.
And Peta Wilson? The most criminally underused actress of recent memory? Nice work.
I'd definitely be interested to see this.

Thanks for your comments guys.
And Johnny, yes it was a real result to get Peta Wilson onboard, a really wonderful actress and as you say definitely underused!
Cheers!

Looks great!

The guy doing the narration sounds just like Christopher Walken.

This looks great, Liam. Congrats on getting it finished, and good luck with the post-pro fundraiser.

Were the 21 shooting days consecutive, or did you break it up and shoot on weekends or something like that?

Nice, did I spy a couple of locations in Greenpoint? In particular that park with a basketball court? I used to ride down there all the time at night to drink a beer and look at the view.

ATrain thanks for backing us! and everyone thanks for the comments and support!

Eric, yes this was pretty much consecutive days. We filmed 6 day weeks with sundays to catch up on sleep! we really did film exceptionally long days and having that one day of rest was very much needed and I'd highly recommend it! It gave us all a boost of energy for the week ahead.

Rob, yes you did indeed see Greenpoint! It has some amazing locations and the view of the city is just awesome from there.
We had some fun from a few of the locals who were also enjoying a beer from there and wanted to add their own voices and music to our film! but a few kind words and we managed to get what we needed uninterrupted!
