So I was out shooting last night and a friend showed me what looked like a little oblong fleck of dust, or even a tiny scratch, inside the optics of his DVX's lens.
Is this a warranty issue; that is, does the DVX's warranty implicitly guarantee that the lens housing and assembly are dust-tight under normal operating conditions? Or is my friend just boned, and will have to spend the $$$ himself to have the lens professionally disassembled and cleaned...?
