Dust/Dirty on ND Filter

Other than sending the camera in to Panasonic and a hefty bill, is there any way of blowing our or vacuuming/cleaning 2 specks of dust on ND1? Seems that this is a common thing and pretty poor sealing of the sensor area in my opinion. Cheers

I had the same thing with a 2nd hand AF100 I got. Sent it to Ray Purnell in Artarmon (Im in Sydney Australia) and he sorted it out for very cheep.
I have had my fist AF100 from new, one of the first in the country in 2011, and its developed the same problem so Ill be taking that in soon.

Ray said it was actually quite an easy job to do. That the "dust" was actually mold. And the cost at Panasonic is probably because they will want to replace the sensor housing.

From what I can tell it seems to happen in a very similar way to the people who get the problem. My two cameras have now had the issue (one fixed, one just exihbiting the issue) have had teh speck in almost the exact same place.

So...
Probably not dust if you ask me
Easy to fixed by a decent broadcast technician
Shouldn't cost more than a 2-3 hundred to get done.

Let me know if you want Ray's contact info :)
