GH13 duplicate frames in 59.94 720p footage?

I seem to be getting duplicate frames in my 59.94 720p files. I notice it most when I try to play the 59.94 clips on a 23.98 timeline--the resultant slow motion is anything but smooth. Stepping through the original clip, I think it might be because of duplicate frames in the 59.94 clip.

Anyone else running into this problem?
 
Yes, I think it was the shutter speed. Is that because my shutter was lower than my frame rate? I may have had a 50 shutter speed on these 59.94 clips?
 
You cannot have a shutter speed that's longer than the frame rate, it's an impossibility. The way the camera copes is that it drops the frame rate. So if you use 1/50th on 60p, the camera will actually drop the frame rate in half, so you'll only be getting effectively 30p. Hence the duplicate frames.
 
Damn...I knew that...and then forgot about it when my light levels unexpectedly dropped! Should have upped the ISO rather than dropping shutter. Oops.
