This film was originally intended for the DVXUser Spyfest back in 2006 but I wasn't able to complete it in time. It was one of our first short films and was written by Max Landis (writer of Chronicle). It did decently well in festivals back in '08, and this is the first time I've put it up online. I shot it with the DVX100b (man I really love that camera). Let me know what you think, and if you like what you see, please donate to our next film here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/119235061/apex-0. We only have 5 days left and still need $1200 more.

ok, not bad... so that been said...it's not bad.

You have one story in one location... which I more like then trying to do 54446648646464 locations....

Few things about the sound: in general it's good. Only I hear russling of the wireless lav sometimes...

And the "hit and punch sound effects..." they don't match (when he hits the other with his head...that sound doesn't match....it's better to remove it).
it's also to late (exactly 3 frames), and it's also to loud, to much "close sounding", so EQ, adding reverb with 60%mix or so could help... But it's hard to explain how exactly to do it....
trial and error....

It's good you don't have music ALL the way.

For the soundtrack of the wireless mic... cut away when it's not needed.
