Dump to drive and not capture

Is there any way to just drag the EX's files from an SxS card and dump it on a laptops harddrive then go back later and capture it.

I will be in the field with my Ex and the only laptop i have is my wifes's and i dont want to install any software on it, i just want to store the files on it so i can come back and capture them on my iMac.

Whats the best way to do this?
 
Yes. If you have the disc space, that's a good practice in case you wish to re-wrap the files with Sony Clip Browser. You can point the Clip Browser to a folder on the hard drive easily.
