Dumb WB question

hi, is WB a global thing or does it affect only the scene file you're on???
talking bout the manual WB not the preset ones.
my scene files seem to respond differently to white balance,
...just wondering.

All white balance settings, including the "color temp" menu option, directly affect gain in the blue and red sensors.

to my knowlege when you WB it will take a true white balance. then it overlays your scene file over it. hence why when you do it your screeen changes back to "boring" we will call it - when you WB. so if you were to go into your scene file and put everything to factory settings at 0, it would be fine..... so basically just letting you know you dont need to re-WB when you change you scene settings at all
