VaricamLT: Dumb E-mount adapter for the LT?

I wonder if any of you know if it would be possible to construct a dumb E-mount adapter for the Varicam LT, or is the sensor not close enough? The reason I'm asking is of course the new Fujinon lens. It would probably be much more affordable to buy a dumb adapter and the Fujinon lens than buying a cine lens with a PL-mount, and from what I've seen the Fujinon lens seems to be nice.

What are your thoughts?

I won't flat out say NO, because I don't know any technical specifics about Panasonics mount system, but the camera was designed to work mostly with their swappable mounts for PL and EF, which are very deep in-comparison to E mounts super shallow 18mm flange depth. Even FZ, which is basically a wide open shallow hole in front of the sensor of the F5/55 can't adapt to E.

I see. Well, the Varicam LT has the filter in front of the sensor, I believe that is not the case with the E-mount cameras. Perhaps the sensor is just too far inside the camera for an E-mount adapter to be possible.
