Duel Adapter!!!!

I cannot mount any Cards to my mbp!!!

I have the latest ubdate, I have repaired permissions and zapped pram. Nothig will mount!

I am jammed with work and can't unload these cards!

any ideas?

For OSX 10.4.10

Here is the procedure:

1. Start the MBP WITHOUT the duel adapter inserted.
2. After the MBP boots up, insert the duel adapter (if the duel adapter is removed when the MBP is on, you MUST restart the MBP without the duel adapter inserted).
3. insert the P2 card.

You can insert and eject as many P2 card as you want without restarting, JUST LEAVE THE DUEL ADAPTER INSERTED THE WHOLE TIME.

Might want to tell us what OS and what version and what you have installed.

Your information suggests OS 10, but a little detail might be helpful.

Here is how mine works. 10.4.9 & .10 are the same. Load latest drivers from dual systems. Load latest p2 software. (this should have already been done). Boot. Insert dual adapter. If you don't see the icon in by the clock. Remove express card and reinsert - do this until you see the icon - it can take up to 15 tries. When you see the icon, insert your p2 cards and offload. Don't remove your dual adapter until you are finished - you will have to restart to insert it again.
