Dual Monitor window jumping in Avid

I just purchased a sweet 22 inch monitor to expand my editing capability but I am having problems in Avid putting my windows where I want them... They don't like being near the edges of the screen or bring over other windows. Also none of the window "sets" configure nicely for this setup.

System:
Nvidia 7600 chip... latest drivers
Left monitor: Dell 19" @ 1280 x 1024
Right monitor: Acer 22" @ 1680 x 1050 (Primary)
WinXP SP2... fully updated

Is there a desktop configuration utility in Avid somewhere? Is there a setting I have to flick to make the program realize that there are 2 monitors?

I have looked through AVID tech notes and have found nothing useful...

Thanks

Make sure your left monitor is your primary. If necessary, switch the cables. You could also try to 'virtually' swap the monitors: in the windows monitor setup, drag the 2nd monitor to the other side of the 1st, and see if that helps. But then, if your mouse exits left on the left monitor, it enters right on the right one.
