F3: Dual Link Settings For 60p From F3 to Odyssey 7q

If the Odyssey7Q doesn't even see it then you may not have a signal there. I don't recall the settings in the F3 menu, but I wonder if you are in the correct mode on the camera. Our Tech Support team at cdsupport@convergent-design.com may be able to help.

Thanks Mitch. I figured it out. I didn't realize the SDI B wasn't live until you activated a frame rate that required dual link.

You need to be 1080/60p for camera setting, 60i for camera output. 7Q can be set to either record baked slow motion or 60p at 60p.

FYI, with the setting on the Odyssey7Q, it only refers to the timecode structure as a project frame rate. That's just for the playback speed, which can be altered at transfer time using the CD ProRes Transfer Tool or it can be changed in your NLE. No matter what, Odyssey will always record every single frame.
