Dual Adapter alternative?

I am on a MacBook Pro with a express card slot, unfortunately I am on Snow Leopard 10.6.4 (the camera: HVX200A). Is there an alternative to the Duel Adapter card, PCMCIA to Express card? Trying to not spend a fortune on one of those P2 card reader / monitor solutions.

The new PCD20 (USB) works great, but it will set you back $350 plus shipping. I had the same setup and used to boot in leopard from an external drive. The DA works on brand new MBPs as long as they are booted in Leopard. To be honest, it was totally unpractical and sometimes crashed for no apparent reason. Once I switched workflow to the PCD20, I have been very satisfied.

My search for PCD20 is leading me to a Panasonic device that costs around $1800. Do you have a link?

Thanks, I had to downgrade to OS X 10.5 in order to get the duel adapter to work. I guess I will have to shell out for the PCD2 at some point.
