Hey all, we've been using a Focus Enhancements FS-4ProHd drive with our DVX100b after a few months began having problems with our footage.
After contacting Focus Enhancements we learned from a support technician that the FS-4 family is engineered 'only for Sony' cameras. He also said the FS-100 is engineered only for Panasonics.
I'm confused because
1. no where on their website does it say that the FS-4 is designed for Sony's exclusively
2. on the website it does say the FS-100 is made for the HVX200 but doesn't say anything about the DVX100B.......
3. the FS-100 way more expensive so i'm trying to figure out if its just the FS-4 drive we have that we should exchange or do we really need to get this more expensive DTE drive.....which seems to be designed for an HD camera.
Can someone clear this up? Mainly....is anyone having continued success with their DVX100b and a FS-4 drive?
Thanks
