Hi there,
I recently got a new job and within this job, I got this acquisition to make.
It's a series of hockey games taped on a Sony DRS-PD170.
And I tried to do the acquisition with the DSR-25 deck and Adobe Premiere CC 2014.
The problem is this : I got no playback on the monitor's deck and within Adobe Premiere, but still got the control of the tape. I was wandering why the deck wouldn't recognize the tape since both are Sony's. I tried to identify if it's NTSC or PAL. It was not the problem.
The question is this : How can I made the DSR-25 to recognize the DSR-PD170's tapes? Because I need to have the deck to be up and ready to do some archives and I don't want to monopolize the cameras and converting them to temporary decks. Also we can still rent those cameras for those jobs and contrats that doesn't need HD output.
The temporary solution : I hooked up the camera, wich was originaly taped the games to do the acquisition, but I want it to be temporary.
