Just got a Sony DSR-11 and have some questions regarding pass through and timecode.
If I'm converting or digitizing VHS with no timecode and later want to re edit this is there a way to somehow ad timecode during the dgitizing process using the DSR-11 to save some valuble time. Or do I need to record onto DV from VHS and digitize from that source to get real time code in my NLE?
How can I benefit from using DVCAM tape being a DVX100B user that does do work for others and does do VHS conversions?
Does Panasonic make dry DVCAM tapes or has Sony Monopolized the DVCAM tape stock world.
I only use Panasonic tape stock
Any other light others can share on this would be grand!
