Never thought I would go DSLR for my next video camera but after seeing it used on a short film shoot a week ago with the footage it creates, I had to get it. I was going to hold out for the Panasonic AGF cam that is scheduled for release in December but decided to go with the Canon D5.
After the purchsae of the body, prime lenses, rail system, monitor, follow focus and matte box you know that I just made a siziable investment.
When I bought the rail system, I didn't get the hand grips or shoulder mount. My question is- Is there a place that I can purchase these separately without a huge hit to the budget? Most places I have seen sell the grips and shoulder mount only with full rail system. I am open to DIY also but my current rig is so nice I don't want something like a PVC Frankenstien.
